Vans, trailers and permits

  • Vans: Vans, minibuses, pick-ups and campervans can use the centre, but not with a trailer. No horseboxes. Commercial vehicles may be questioned as no trade waste is accepted.
  • Trailers: Cars may tow a single or double-axle trailer up to 3m long by 2m wide (car GVW under 2.5 tonnes).

Before you visit

  • Nottingham City residents only (not the County districts); you may be asked for your driving licence. No vehicle registration is needed.
  • DIY waste per visit: up to 2 x 50-litre rubble bags of soil, bricks or rubble; 1 bathroom suite or bulky item; 1 complete window unit; bulky DIY items no larger than 2,000mm x 750mm x 700mm.
  • Fridges and freezers temporarily limited to one per visit and one visit per week.
  • No trade or business waste, including waste from rented-out properties.
