Vans, trailers and permits

• Vans: Vans need a free van/trailer e-permit (12 visits a year); nothing larger than a long-wheelbase transit-type van, no Luton box vans or large flatbeds.
• Trailers: Trailers need a van/trailer e-permit; trailer beds over 8ft 6in (2.5m) are not allowed.

• Every vehicle needs a free e-permit (cars: unlimited visits, valid three years); no e-permit needed on foot or by bicycle.
• Peterborough residents only; bring proof of address.
• DIY waste: up to 2 x 50-litre bags or 2 items per visit, four DIY visits per household every four weeks.
• Small amounts of white cement-bonded asbestos only with an approved application in advance.
• Tyres, fire extinguishers and uPVC windows and doors are not accepted.
