Vans, trailers and permits
- Commercial-type vehicles (vans) only on Sundays 12pm to 4pm, with proof of address and a household waste declaration form; hire vans any time with the hire agreement.
- Car trailers with a load bed under 1.8m (6ft) allowed; 1.8m to 3m needs a household waste declaration form; over 3m not allowed.
Before you visit any Southend-on-Sea tip
- Southend-on-Sea residents only; show a current driving licence or council tax bill.
- No access on foot.
- Hardcore and rubble (including DIY waste): one car boot load (6 builder rubble bags) only.
- Asbestos, gas cylinders and tyres are not accepted.
