Vans, trailers and permits
- Vans under 5m long and 2.1m high, owned by the resident (or on hire), must book a slot; up to 12 bookings a year.
- Car trailers up to 1.2m x 0.9m need no booking; 1.2m to 2.4m must book; over 2.4m only for garden waste, 9am-11am weekdays.
Before you visit any Shropshire tip
- For people with a Shropshire county postcode (including Telford and Wrekin); residents of other neighbouring areas cannot use these centres.
- Asbestos: call 0345 678 9007 in advance to collect free wrapping materials.
- Only small amounts of DIY waste: no more than 0.5 cubic metres a month (a small car boot).
