Vans, trailers and permits

  • Vans: Cars, small car-type vans and pick-ups book an 'option 1' slot (no annual limit). Panelled vans up to 3.5 tonnes, flat beds, tippers, drop sides and box vans book 'option 2', and vehicles with commercial signage 'option 3'; households are limited to 12 option 2/3 slots a year.
  • Trailers: Single-axle trailers up to 1.45m bed length go with an option 1 booking; longer single-axle trailers (up to 2.44m) and double-axle trailers up to 2.44m need an option 2 booking.

Before you visit any Pembrokeshire tip

  • Display ID showing the booking address (e.g. driving licence, utility or council tax bill) in your windscreen.
  • A maximum of 3 bookings can be made per week.
  • Small DIY loads are free (under 100 litres, i.e. two 50-litre bags, or one item up to 2000 x 750 x 700mm, and no more than four visits in four weeks); more is charged.
  • Vehicle engine oil: maximum 5 litres per household a month.
