Vans, trailers and permits
- Vans up to 3.4 tonnes (including campervans), 4x4s and single-cab pick-ups need a free permit: up to 12 visits in 12 months.
- Car-towed trailers under 1.8m need no permit; 1.8m to 2.4m need a permit; over 2.4m, or towed by a permit vehicle, not accepted.
Before you visit any North Somerset tip
- North Somerset residents only; no commercial waste.
- No access on foot, by bicycle or on mobility or electric scooters.
- Charges are paid by card only.
- Food waste and plastic bags or soft plastic wrapping are not accepted.
