Vans, trailers and permits
- Vans under 3.5 tonnes and pickups need a free permit (12 visits per household per year) and a booked slot.
- Trailers larger than 6ft by 4ft, or with more than one axle, need a permit and a booked slot.
Before you visit any Hull tip
- Display a Hull residents' pass in your car window, or show proof of a Hull address (utility bill, Council Tax bill or driving licence).
- Not for business, trade or commercial waste.
- Usually busiest in the morning.
