Vans, trailers and permits

  • Vans: Medium/large (panel) vans need a Vehicle Pass, 12 visits in 12 months. Flatbeds, box vans and hire vans can't get a pass (book a one-off visit instead); vehicles over 3500kg are never allowed.
  • Trailers: Cars towing a single-axle trailer with no high sides need a Vehicle Pass; only trailer visits count towards the 12.

Before you visit any Doncaster tip

  • Hardcore, rubble and soil limited to 300 litres (a standard car boot load) once a week.
  • Children under 16 and dogs must stay in the vehicle.
  • Pedestrians need a pedestrian pass and must pre-book each visit.
