Vans, trailers and permits
- Privately registered panel vans and flat-bed vans need a free van permit, which allows 12 visits a year.
- Trailers up to 3m internal length; vans and pick-ups may not tow a trailer.
Before you visit any Devon tip
- Free DIY waste allowance: four visits per household in any four weeks, each with up to 2 rubble bags or 1 unbagged item up to 2 metres long.
- Charges are paid to the site contractor by credit or debit card only.
- For householders bringing their own household waste only; no trade waste.
