Derbyshire tip charges

Asbestos (maximum 2 sheets, card payment only) £6 per sheet
Tyres from a domestic vehicle (maximum 4, card payment only) £4 per tyre

Vans, trailers and permits

  • Vans: Vans up to 3.5 tonnes need a temporary permit, registered online before every visit (valid that day and the next).
  • Trailers: Trailers with a load area up to 2 metres long (excluding the tow bar) are allowed; no horse boxes.

Before you visit any Derbyshire tip

  • Derbyshire residents only: register your vehicle online (up to 2 cars or pickups, valid 7 years); ANPR cameras check access. You may be asked for proof of address.
  • Rubble, soil and plasterboard limited to 50kg (two 25kg sacks) per visit per week; no whole sheets of plasterboard.
  • Vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are not permitted.
  • No walk-in visits without a prior appointment.
  • Trade and commercial waste is generally not accepted.
