Vans, trailers and permits
- Vans and pick-ups under 3.5 tonnes need a vehicle permit (not needed for vans hired for 7 days or less).
- Trailers under 1.83m need no permit; 1.83m to 3m need a permit; vans and pick-ups cannot bring trailers.
Before you visit any Cornwall tip
- Free DIY allowance each week: up to 8 bags of soil or rubble, or up to 8 bags or 4 sheets of plasterboard or asbestos.
- Charges are paid by card only; no cash or cheques.
- Domestic vehicle tyres: no charge, subject to trade waste checks.
- No pedestrian access: vehicles only.
