Vans, trailers and permits
- Cars and small vans (e.g. Partner, Kangoo, Caddy, Transit Connect) need no permit; medium vans (e.g. Transit Custom, Vivaro, Trafic), minibuses and commercially owned vehicles need a Day Permit (one visit, at most one a month); large vans (Luton, Transit, Crafter, Master, Boxer), flatbeds and tippers are not allowed.
- Domestic trailers 8ft x 4ft or smaller need no permit; larger trailers need a Day Permit at the council's discretion.
Before you visit any Ceredigion tip
- Unsorted black bags are not accepted: bags must be emptied and sorted at the site's sorting area.
- Bring proof of residency, such as a driving licence or utility bill.
- DIY waste is limited to 5 rubble/builders sacks (max 20kg each) a year, plasterboard to 2 sheets a year and asbestos to 2 sheets a year.
- Tyres, gas cylinders, fire extinguishers and food waste are not accepted.
- Children and pets must stay in vehicles.
