Vans, trailers and permits
- Vans up to 3 tonnes, minibuses and pickups need a Large Capacity Vehicle Permit (12 visits a year) and can only use Bowling Back Lane or Keighley.
- Trailers up to 750kg need the Large Capacity Vehicle Permit and can only use Bowling Back Lane or Keighley.
Before you visit any Bradford tip
- All vehicles, including cars, must display a valid Bradford resident permit; households are sent one with their Council Tax bill.
- Residents of other local authorities cannot use the sites; no business or trade waste.
- Fridges and freezers are temporarily not accepted because of a national shortage of processing facilities.
- Free DIY waste (soil, rubble, hardcore, tiles): one visit a week, up to two 50-litre bags or one large item up to 2m x 0.75m.
