Vans, trailers and permits

  • Vans: Short/medium wheelbase vans (up to 5m) need a permit costing £13.50 (one visit a month for 12 months), weekdays only; apply 7 to 10 working days ahead. Box vans, flat-backs, tippers, long-wheelbase and sign-written vehicles are not allowed.
  • Trailers: Cars towing a single-axle trailer up to 3m need the same permit; weekdays only. Twin-axle trailers are not allowed.

  • DIY waste: 2 x 50L rubble sacks or 1 large item (max 200 x 75 x 70cm) per week, up to 4 visits in 4 weeks; photo ID and proof of address needed.
  • Re-use Shop on site closes at 3.30pm.
